The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Drive (RSCNPF) acquired a report on
Thursday, January 2nd, 2026, of an individual going lacking whereas swimming at Herbert
Seashore, Nevis, between 1 PM and 1:30 PM.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the sufferer, 30-year-old Jahi Henry of Webbe’s
Floor, Nevis, was swimming off the shore with a buddy when he appeared to
encounter difficulties within the water. The buddy tried to help Mr Henry and produce
him safely to shore, however was unsuccessful. The buddy later reached the alternative aspect of
the seashore, the place he sought help.

Police requested help from the St. Kitts and Nevis Defence Drive Coast Guard, native
divers, fishermen, and different responders. Shortly earlier than 3 PM, Mr Henry was discovered
offshore unresponsive within the neighborhood of the Medical College of the Americas by Coast
Guard officers. Resuscitation makes an attempt carried out on Mr Henry by Coast Guard officers and Emergency Medical Companies personnel had been unsuccessful. He was later pronounced deceased on the Alexandra Hospital.
