US Virgin Islands Makes Push for New Airlift

The US Virgin Islands has been one of many greatest success tales within the Caribbean in the case of new airlift within the post-pandemic interval. 

Buoyed by its class-leading response to the pandemic, the USVI has seen unprecedented ranges of each air entry and arrivals within the final half decade. 

And now the territory is trying to push the envelope, persevering with its drive to develop air entry on the current Routes Americas convention in Nassau. 

USVI officers held talks with 19 totally different stakeholders within the trade, together with main carriers like American Airways, Delta, Southwest, Spirit, JetBlue and United, amongst others. 

“Our participation at Routes is instrumental in solidifying relationships with main airways and furthering our efforts to reinforce air entry to America’s paradise,” mentioned USVI Tourism Commissioner Joseph Boschulte. “The constructive suggestions we obtained from airline representatives underscores our dedication to offering unparalleled journey experiences for guests to the Territory.”

The talks targeted on opening new gateways for high-demand markets, together with strengthening present routes. 

Boschulte was additionally a panelist on a high-level roundtable on sustainability.
