Troy Nisbett and Skyla Connor to symbolize St Kitts and Nevis at CARIFTA Aquatic Championships 2025

Troy Nisbett and Skyla Connor have been chosen to symbolize St Kitts and Nevis on the thirty eighth CARIFTA Aquatic Championships, scheduled from April 19, 2025 to April 22, 2025, and will probably be held on the Nationwide Aquatics Centre in Balmain Couva in Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago.

Nisbett and Connor made their and St Kitts and Nevis’ debut in CARIFTA Aquatics Championships final yr, from March 29, 2024 to April 3, 2024, held in Nassau, Bahamas.

The duo will symbolize the Federation in a swimming competitors and have been practising arduous to win the championship.

Moreover, each Nisbett and Connor have been practising below the steering of James Weekes, Nationwide swim coach of St Kitts and Nevis, who shared his pleasure in teaching the 2 younger swimmers.

CARIFTA Aquatic Championships 

CARIFTA Aquatic Championships is an annual worldwide age-group competitors, with athletes from throughout the globe competing in opposition to one another in numerous aquatic disciplines.

The championship has been held since 1985 below the Caribbean Affiliation of Nationwide Olympic Committees (CANOC).

CARIFTA Aquatic Championships consists of a number of classes:- 

  • Boys (11-12 years, 13-14 years, 15-17 years & 18 and over) and Ladies (11-12 years, 13-14 years, 15-17 years & 18 and over) 50m, 100m, 200m, 400m in freestyle class; 50m, 100m, 200m, in breaststroke class; 50m, 100m, 200m, in butterfly class; 200m, 400m in particular person relay class; 4x50m, 4x100m, freestyle; and 4x100m in medley relay.
  • Blended Relay, (13-14) in freestyle class

CARIFTA Aquatic Championships 2024

CARIFTA Aquatic Championships 2024 was held from March 29, 2024 to April 3, 2024, in Nassau, Bahamas.

Bahamas defended its crown and received the CARIFTA Aquatic championship 2024 for sixth consecutive yr.
