The Taiwan Technical Mission to St. Kitts and Nevis held the 2025 Nationwide Recycling Competitors Award Ceremony on the morning of November 24 on the Marriott Seashore Resort. The occasion was organized by Ms. Joyce Chang, Supervisor of the Technical Mission’s Stable Waste Administration and Recycling Mission, in shut collaboration with the environmental and schooling authorities of St. Kitts and Nevis, in addition to the worldwide environmental group PROMAR.

This yr, 55 faculties participated, demonstrating the robust dedication of native communities and college students to sustainability. Secretary Chung additionally formally introduced 1,600 eco-friendly T-shirts constituted of recycled plastics on behalf of the Embassy to the Hon. Dr. Joyelle Clarke, Minister of Sustainable Growth, Atmosphere and Local weather Motion and Constituency Empowerment of St. Kitts and Nevis, and Ms. Jahnel Nisbett, Minister of Well being, Gender Affairs, and Social Empowerment of Nevis Island Administration.

Taiwan will proceed to help St. Kitts and Nevis in selling waste separation, recycling, and round financial system initiatives, working with authorities businesses, faculties, and group companions to construct a cleaner, greener, and extra sustainable island state.
