Basseterre, St. Kitts – The St. Kitts and Nevis Fireplace and Rescue Providers (SKNFRS) proudly celebrated the commencement of its newest cohort of recruits on Thursday 24thJuly, 2025.  The ceremony marked the profitable completion of an intensive coaching program that lasted for six (6) months, equipping the brand new fireplace officers with the important expertise and data required to safeguard the lives and property of the Federation.

The commencement, held at NEMA Convention Room, was attended by Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Terrance Drew and different dignitaries from the Ministry of Nationwide Safety, senior fireplace officers, and consultant from the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Pressure together with proud members of the family and well-wishers.

All through their rigorous coaching, the recruits underwent complete instruction in quite a lot of essential areas.  This included fireplace suppression methods, search and rescue operations, hazardous supplies administration, car extrication and a robust emphasis on emergency medical response.  The curriculum is designed to arrange them for the various challengers they’ll encounter of their service to the nation.

Audio system on the ceremony counseled the graduates for his or her dedication, self-discipline and dedication demonstrated throughout their coaching.
