Porsha Precious Perkins and Keznambi Archibald have been crowned the esteemed Mr. and Miss Talented Youth 2026, following a vibrant competition held as part of the Nevis Culturama 52 festival. The prestigious Republic Bank Mr. & Miss Talented Youth Pageant 2026 took place on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at the NEDACS Cultural Complex in Charlestown, celebrating the talent and poise of young contestants.

A Triumph of Talent and Dedication

Representing Charlestown Primary School, both Perkins and Archibald delivered exceptional performances, earning an outstanding score of 887 points each. Their victory underscores a remarkable display of confidence, talent, poise, and dedication on stage. The Nevis Culturama Festival committee lauded their achievements, noting that both contestants brought immense pride to their school, families, and the entire Nevis community.

Recognizing Top Performers

The competition saw strong performances across the board, with Levandre Hanley and Kamorli Warner of Ivor Walters Primary School securing the first runner-up position with an impressive 866 points. Following closely, Myesha Jeffers and Tyquon Connor from St. Thomas’ Primary School were awarded the second runner-up titles, achieving an excellent score of 842 points.

Nevis Culturama Festival Celebrates Youth

The Nevis Culturama Festival committee extended its congratulations to all participants through dedicated social media posts, highlighting the unforgettable nature of this year’s event. “Congratulations to all our incredible contestants for delivering outstanding performances at the pageant, your confidence, creativity, and passion made this year’s competition truly unforgettable,” a statement from the committee read. This sentiment reflects the festival’s commitment to fostering a platform for young individuals to showcase their abilities and cultural pride.

The Role of Sponsorship and Community Support

Republic Bank (EC) Limited served as the title sponsor for the pageant, a partnership that the Nevis Culturama organization deeply appreciates. The bank’s ongoing investment in the island’s youth was recognized for its crucial role in nurturing talent and preserving local culture. “Your support helps preserve our culture while inspiring the next generation of leaders,” the organization stated, emphasizing the broader impact of such collaborations.

In addition to the title sponsor, the event’s success was a collective effort, with gratitude extended to all participating schools, including Elizabeth Pemberton Primary School and Violet O. J. Nicholls Primary School. The commitment of parents, volunteers, judges, and patrons was also acknowledged for making the 2026 Republic Bank Mr. & Miss Talented Youth Pageant a resounding success.

A Legacy of Culturama

The Mr. and Miss Talented Youth Pageant is a cornerstone event within the Nevis Culturama Festival, an annual celebration of Nevis’s rich cultural heritage. The festival, now in its 52nd year, encompasses a wide array of activities designed to engage the community and showcase local talent, arts, and traditions. The pageant, in particular, provides a vital avenue for primary school students to develop and present their skills in a supportive and competitive environment.

By encouraging participation from various primary schools across Nevis, the pageant fosters a spirit of friendly competition and camaraderie among young students. It serves not only as a stage for individual achievement but also as a reminder of the collective strength and cultural vibrancy of the island. The dedication of the organizers, sponsors, and the community ensures that this tradition continues to thrive, empowering the next generation.

Looking Ahead

The crowning of Porsha Precious Perkins and Keznambi Archibald marks another successful chapter in the history of the Mr. & Miss Talented Youth Pageant. Their victory is a testament to their hard work and the supportive environment provided by their school and community. As the Nevis Culturama Festival continues to evolve, events like these remain central to its mission of cultural preservation and youth development, promising an even brighter future for Nevis’s young talents.
