Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew of St. Kitts and Nevis, also the Parliamentary Representative for Constituency 8, attended the opening ceremony of the 30th Green Valley Festival in Cayon on May 7.

PM Drew Highlights Festival’s Significance

Dr. Drew expressed pride in participating in this milestone event. As the local MP, he voiced delight in joining Cayon residents for the celebration.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the festival extends beyond mere entertainment. It symbolizes community pride, cultural expression, resilience, and unity. The event provides a vital platform for youth development and fosters strong community spirit while boosting local businesses and preserving Cayon’s rich cultural heritage.
