NIA CHARLESTOWN NEVIS (Could 12, 2025)- The island of Nevis was awarded the Finest Power Resilience Venture on the seventeenth annual Caribbean Renewable Power Discussion board (CREF 2025) for its photovoltaic desalination plant situated in Butlers, St. James.

The solar-powered facility, already built-in into the island’s water distribution system, can produce as much as 60,000 gallons of handled water per day, considerably boosting water safety by way of clear power.
