Basseterre: St. Kitts, Thursday, November 13, 2025: In a gesture of reaffirmed dedication to the individuals of St Kitts and Nevis, resident Ambassador Edward Lin-Wen Tao and Third Secretary Ms. Kate Wei of the Embassy of the Republic of China / Taiwan conferred with Hon. Konris G. M. Maynard, Minister of Public Infrastructure, et.al, and Everlasting Secretary of Training Mrs. Lisa Pistana to formally current the 2025/2026 funding for the Bilateral Human Useful resource Improvement Cooperation Venture on Monday, November 10.

Minister Maynard, who acted within the stead of Minister of Training, Hon. Dr. Geoffrey Hanley prolonged gratitude on behalf of the Authorities and folks of St. Kitts and Nevis to the Republic of China (Taiwan) for its continued help.

“Thanks very a lot Ambassador. On behalf of the Minister of Training and Deputy Prime Minister, Hon. Dr. Geoffrey Hanley, and your entire authorities, I want to take this chance to say thanks as soon as once more to our pricey buddies from The Republic of China (Taiwan) on your sterling contributions to the event of St. Kitts and Nevis. It continues unabated, and we’re so appreciative of it.”

This annual funding will help within the provision of scholarships to college students of St. Kitts and Nevis, and it additionally helps the colleges within the Federation with educating and studying assets that profit not solely college students but in addition the college.
