Elretha Jeffers Sentenced For Cash Laundering

Elretha Samantha Jeffers, age forty (40), of Buckley’s Housing Growth, St. Kitts, has been sentenced to His Majesty’s Jail for the offence of Cash Laundering dedicated between December 2nd, 2016 and June 14th, 2019, in opposition to IIC Administration, Integrated.

Ms Jeffers was sentenced to serve twenty-one (21) months in jail. She was additionally fined EC $360,000 (300 and sixty thousand {dollars}) to be paid to IIC Administration inside fourteen (14) days, in default of which she is going to serve twelve (12) months in jail. Ms Jeffers was additionally fined a further EC $200,000 (2 hundred thousand {dollars}) which should be paid inside twelve (12) months, in default of which she is going to serve three (3) years in jail. She will probably be eligible for early launch upon serving two-thirds of her sentence with good behaviour.

Ms Jeffers was sentenced on July 18th, 2025, by His Lordship Justice Iain Morley, KC, on the Excessive Court docket in Basseterre.
