Dr. Timothy Harris, former Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis and Member of Parliament for Constituency 7, extends congratulations to Prime Minister Gaston Browne on his re-election for a fourth consecutive term leading Antigua and Barbuda.

Landslide Win for Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party

The Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP), under Browne’s leadership, secured a resounding victory in the snap elections held on April 30, 2026. The party, which previously held 9 of the 17 seats in the National Assembly, now assumes office for the fourth straight term following the swearing-in ceremony.

Harris Highlights Leadership Confidence

In a social media post, Dr. Harris states: “I extend warmest congratulations to Prime Minister Gaston Browne on his historic re-election to a fourth consecutive term as Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda.”

He emphasizes that this success reflects ongoing confidence from Antigua and Barbuda’s people in Browne’s leadership and team. Under continued governance, the nation advances in progress, economic growth, and development.

Call for Regional Collaboration

Dr. Harris expresses optimism for enhanced collaboration, deeper regional integration, and sustained partnerships between St. Kitts and Nevis and Antigua and Barbuda. He anticipates joint efforts with Prime Minister Browne to foster Caribbean-wide development.
