CARIFTA Video games 2025: Younger athletes from St Kitts and Nevis obtain qualifying scores

St Kitts and Nevis’ younger athletes achieved seven CARIFTA – qualifying marks on the SKNA KFC Basic Monitor Meet this previous weekend. The athletes delivered an impressive efficiency on the occasion with their laborious work and dedication.

The winners of this Monitor Meet will get marks that may assist them qualify within the thirty eighth version of CARIFTA Video games 2025, to be held in Trinidad and Tobago.

Minister Samal Duggins congratulates winners

Minister of Sports activities and Artistic Economic system, Samal Duggins, congratulated the athletes on reaching seven CARIFTA – qualifying marks.

He additionally congratulated Troy Nisbett and Skyla Connor, who’ve been chosen to symbolize the dual island nation on the thirty eighth CARIFTA Aquatic Championships.

CARIFTA Video games 

CARIFTA Video games is an annual athletics competitors, first held in 1972 by the Caribbean Free Commerce Affiliation (CARIFTA). It contains numerous monitor and discipline competitions in two age teams (U17 and U20), corresponding to races, hurdles, leaping and throwing occasions, relays, and plenty of extra.

St Kitts and Nevis completed on the twelfth place amongst 28 taking part nations within the 2024 CARIFTA Video games, with three athletes securing silver medals.
