Basseterre Excessive College Stormers wins Ginseng Up Basic Championship with 22 medals

Basseterre Excessive College Stormers gained the Ginseng Up Basic Championship with a complete of twenty-two medals – 10 gold, 6 silver, and 6 bronze. To have fun this excellent achievement, the workforce, with complete pleasure, uplifted the trophy.

The Ginseng Up Basic Championship was held on Sunday, February twenty third, 2025 on the Nevis Athletic Stadium. The event began at 11:30 am and had seven collaborating groups, competing for the ultimate trophy.

The event was open for everybody with an admission charge of $25.00 XCD for adults, $15.00 XCD for highschool college students, $10.00 XCD for kids (12 & under), and $40.00 XCD for inside parking (with driver).

Closing Medal Rely of The Ginseng Up Basic Championship 

Basseterre Excessive College emerged because the winner of the event with 10 gold medals, 6 silver medals, and 6 bronze medals. Verchilds Excessive College adopted proper behind at quantity two with 9 gold medals, 4 silver medals, and three bronze medals.

Charlestown Secondary College got here third with 5 gold medals, 10 silver medals, and 13 bronze medals. The First runner-up of the Ginseng Up Basic Championship was Washington Archibald Excessive College with 5 gold medals, 7 silver medals, and 6 bronze medals.

Gingerland Secondary College was the second runner-up with 4 gold medals, 10 silver medals, and seven bronze medals, adopted by Saddlers Secondary College coming in sixth place with 4 gold medals whereas Cayon Excessive College got here in final with only one bronze medal.

Overseas Affairs Minister, Dr Denzil Douglas, congratulated Basseterre Excessive College upon profitable the Ginseng Up Basic championship. He additionally lauded all of the members, athletes, coaches, and viewers who attended the occasion and supported the groups.
