Basseterre, St. Kitts (October 23, 2025) – The Authorities of St. Kitts and Nevis, by means of the Workplace of the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Tourism, Civil Aviation, and Worldwide Transport, proudly welcomed the world’s largest cruise ship, Royal Caribbean Worldwide’s Star of the Seas, throughout a distinguished Inaugural Plaque Alternate Ceremony held on board the vessel at Port Zante.

The ceremony introduced collectively the Honourable Dr. Terrance Drew, Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis; the Honourable Marsha T. Henderson, Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation, and Worldwide Transport; cupboard ministers; senior authorities officers; representatives from the Royal Caribbean Group; and executives of the Ministry of Tourism, St. Kitts Tourism Authority, St. Christopher Air and Sea Ports Authority, and Delisle Walwyn & Co. Ltd.

In his remarks, Prime Minister Drew expressed appreciation to the Royal Caribbean Group for its continued partnership and management in advancing sustainable cruise tourism throughout the Caribbean.

“The arrival of this exceptional vessel represents greater than tourism. It indicators a shared dedication to innovation, sustainability, and accountable progress,” acknowledged Prime Minister Drew. “We acknowledge that the way forward for journey and tourism should align with the pressing want to guard our surroundings, and at this time, we have fun a associate who shares this imaginative and prescient.”

The Star of the Seas, the latest vessel in Royal Caribbean’s revolutionary Icon Class, is a landmark in fashionable cruise engineering.
