Basseterre, St. Kitts, November 1, 2025 (PMO) — The Authorities of St. Kitts and Nevis has introduced that it’ll contribute US$100,000 to help the Authorities and other people of Jamaica of their restoration and rebuilding efforts following the devastation attributable to Hurricane Melissa.

Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Terrance Drew confirmed the pledge, noting that this contribution displays the Federation’s deep sense of regional solidarity and compassion for its Caribbean neighbours in instances of want.

“The Authorities and other people of St. Kitts and Nevis stand firmly with Jamaica throughout this difficult time,” mentioned Prime Minister Drew. “This monetary help is a logo of our shared resilience, and dedication to at least one one other as a Caribbean household.”

The Prime Minister additionally prolonged an invite to people, non-public organizations, and companies throughout St. Kitts and Nevis who might want to accomplice with the Authorities in additional helping Jamaica as it really works to rebuild communities and restore normalcy.
