Prime Minister Drew announced investments exceeding $80 million in road rehabilitation projects. These initiatives enhance connectivity between the twin islands, boost road safety, and improve transportation efficiency. The second Afro-Caribbean Investment Summit in Abuja, Nigeria, from March 23 to 28, expanded the nation’s global presence. Outcomes include a memorandum of understanding for international film production in June 2026 and securing US$2 billion in funding for the creative sector, benefiting local artists.
In a bilateral meeting, Prime Minister Drew and Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu discussed enhanced cooperation in trade, investment, education, and cultural exchange. President Tinubu plans to appoint a special envoy to St. Kitts and Nevis, marking a significant step in bilateral relations.
