Diani Prince-Drew, spouse of St. Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister, actively participates in the Global Coalition for the Future of Children, an initiative launched by former U.S. First Lady Melania Trump.

Fostering Innovation in Children’s Education

The Fostering the Future Together Global Coalition unites first ladies and equivalent leaders worldwide to address key challenges in children’s learning. Participants explore safe and effective applications of advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence, to enhance children’s development and well-being.

Diani Prince-Drew delivered a compelling address at the event, emphasizing that national size should never constrain ambitions for children’s growth. “Our size must never limit our ambition, especially when it comes to the development and wellbeing of our children,” she stated.

St. Kitts and Nevis’ Tech-Driven Education Push

Prince-Drew highlighted how technology shapes the future in St. Kitts and Nevis. The government invests strategically to transform youth into creators, innovators, and responsible digital citizens, rather than mere consumers.

A key effort includes the reintroduction of the one-on-one laptop program, providing students across the education system with personal learning devices. This aligns with coalition goals to develop innovative tools that boost education, empower parents and teachers, and build secure digital environments for children.

Her involvement underscores St. Kitts and Nevis’ dedication to youth development through progressive education, safety measures, and opportunities for future generations.
