The government of St. Kitts and Nevis partners with the African Export-Import Bank to host the Fifth Annual AfriCaribbean Trade and Investment Forum (ACTIF 2026). Scheduled for July 29 to 31, 2026, at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort, the event carries the theme “Shared Roots, New Routes: Creating Pathways for Enterprise and Innovation.”

Strengthening Economic Bonds

ACTIF 2026 reinforces economic connections between Africa and the Caribbean Community. Marking its fifth year, the forum underscores the “Global Africa” movement and expanding South-South cooperation. It transforms centuries-old historical and cultural ties into robust economic partnerships, trade opportunities, and enduring business agreements.

Prime Minister’s Vision

Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew expresses pride in hosting ACTIF 2026. He notes that the event aligns with the nation’s goals to become a sustainable island state while fostering stronger international relations.

Expected Attendees and Program

Over 1,000 delegates attend, including heads of state, business leaders, government officials, investors, and innovators from Africa, the Caribbean, and the global Diaspora. The three-day agenda features high-level plenaries, an investment opportunities exhibition, targeted business-to-business meetings, and side events focused on technology, renewable energy, tourism, and financial services.

Advancing Trade Initiatives

The forum advances the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and operationalizes the Africa-Caribbean trade and investment agenda. St. Kitts and Nevis showcases its investment-ready projects, positions its private sector on the global stage, and serves as a key bridge for business and trade between Africa and the Caribbean. The nation stands ready to welcome global participants, converting shared history into pathways for prosperity.
