4 St Kitts and Nevis gamers to signify Leeward Islands Hurricanes in Regional 4 day event

St Kitts and Nevis: Two Kittitian and two Nevisian gamers have been chosen within the Leeward Islands Hurricanes cricket staff for the WICB Skilled Cricket League Regional 4 day Event, having their first match towards West Indies Academy on Wednesday, January twenty ninth, 2025, at Coolidge Cricket Grounds, Antigua.

The St Kitts and Nevis’ gamers embody Shelton Forbes, Colin Archibald, Jeremiah Louis, and Cameron Pennyfeather.

Elquemedo Willett from Nevis was the primary Leeward Islander to signify the West Indies staff towards Australia in 1973.

The staff will likely be led by Rahkeem Cornwall from Antigua, with Hayden Walsh Jr. performing because the Vice-Captain of the staff.

St Kitts and Nevis’ gamers

Shelton Forbes will likely be making his debut with Leeward Islands Hurricanes whereas Colin Archibald regained his spot within the staff.

Cameron Pennyfeather made his debut in 2017 with Mixed Campuses and Faculties and can play for Leeward Islands Hurricanes for the primary time. 

Jeremiah Louis has been one of many high bowlers of Leeward Islands Hurricanes for the previous few seasons and was named within the West Indies Check Squad to tour England.

Leeward Islands Hurricanes

The Leeward Islands Hurricanes represents member international locations of the Leeward Islands Cricket Affiliation that features Antigua and Barbuda, St Kitts and Nevis, Anguilla, Montserrat, British Virgin Islands, US Virgin Islands, and Saint Maarten.

The staff participates in solely regional tournaments and never in worldwide competitions just like the Regional 4 Day Championship and the Regional Super50.

The Leeward Islands Hurricanes was based in 1980 and is presently coached by Stuart Williams.
