ZIZ Broadcasting Corporation celebrated its 65th anniversary on March 29, 2026, hosting an awards ceremony and cocktail reception at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort Ballroom. The event paid tribute to long-serving employees and broadcasting pioneers for their pivotal roles in advancing national media in St. Kitts and Nevis.

The Legacy of Service Award stood out, recognizing employees with 20 or more years of dedication to ZIZ. Leonard Lestrade, Deputy Chairman of the Board, presented the honors and commended the recipients for their professionalism, unwavering commitment, and efforts to strengthen the island’s broadcasting landscape.

Claudette “Polly” Manchester received the moniker “The Voice of ZIZ” for her contributions to the corporation’s regional prominence. Former General Manager Viere Galloway earned recognition for exemplary leadership during key periods of transformation and expansion.
Cultural advocate Winston Constantine “Conse” Edwards and broadcaster Michael “Mic Stokes” Heyliger joined the honorees for their impacts on company culture, entertainment, and national identity.
