Communities across St. Kitts and Nevis are uniting to support Anthony Wiltshire, a former public official and respected community figure, who requires urgent overseas medical treatment. A fundraising drive has been initiated to cover the substantial costs associated with his necessary surgery and recovery.

Medical Emergency and Fundraising Goal

Anthony Wiltshire recently experienced a heart attack, necessitating immediate medical intervention. Reports indicate that he requires surgery and subsequent treatment in Trinidad. The estimated expenses for the procedure, including accommodation and rehabilitation therapy, are approximately US$40,000, which equates to roughly EC$108,000.

The initiative to raise these funds was widely publicized across various social media platforms, garnering significant attention and support. Even Michele Drew, the half-sister of Prime Minister Dr. Terence Drew, shared information about the medical fundraising campaign on her social media, highlighting the broad community backing for Mr. Wiltshire.

How to Contribute

Organizers of the fundraising effort are appealing to the public for donations to help meet the financial requirements for Mr. Wiltshire’s medical care. Contributions can be made directly to the St. Kitts Cooperative Credit Union (SKCU) via account number 3920.
