St. Kitts Tourism Authority Launches Local Resort Experience Campaign
The St. Kitts Tourism Authority (SKTA) has officially unveiled the St. Kitts Escape Experience-SEE 2026 initiative, a groundbreaking campaign designed to encourage residents to explore and celebrate the island’s renowned hospitality from a new perspective. Announced on Thursday, the SEE-2026 program aims to foster a deeper appreciation for local tourism by offering Kittitians the chance to experience the nation’s premier hotels and resorts at special local rates.
This initiative grants access to exclusive perks and authentic Kittitian experiences, inviting locals to immerse themselves in the beauty and luxury of their own country. Several prominent hotels and resorts have partnered with the SKTA to provide these unique opportunities.
A Vacationer’s View of Home
Officials have highlighted that the SEE-2026 campaign is particularly suited for individuals looking to celebrate life’s milestones, indulge in a pampering getaway, or simply escape the routines of daily life. The program empowers residents to view their homeland through the eyes of a vacationer, all within a budget-friendly and accessible framework. The upcoming summer season is being promoted as an ideal time for locals to plan their holidays through this campaign.
Encouraging Local Exploration
Kelly Fontenelle, Chief Executive Officer of the St. Kitts Tourism Authority, explained the motivation behind SEE-2026. “While St. Kitts is a highly sought-after travel destination globally, many of our own residents haven’t had the full opportunity to explore and truly experience their homeland,” Fontenelle stated. “This campaign provides them precisely that chance to discover the wonders right here at home.”
She further elaborated on the campaign’s core message: “SEE-2026 is our initiative for every Kittitian and resident to slow down, indulge, and fall in love with this island all over again.” Fontenelle added that participating hotel partners have specially curated unique offers for the local public. “Our hotel partners have crafted exceptional offers just for you, and we couldn’t be more excited to share them with you,” she remarked.
