On April 15, 2026, the Ministry of Youth, Ageing and Disabilities in St. Kitts and Nevis signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with iSTEAM The Academy of Arts and Sciences. The signing ceremony occurred at the Saddlers Home for the Elderly, marking a key step in enhancing collaboration between the government and the academy.
Objectives of the Partnership
The agreement aims to bolster community development across the island through joint initiatives. The inaugural project launches as a trial program focused on resident care, student-led services, support for development programs, and intergenerational engagement.

Minister of State for Youth, Ageing and Disabilities Isalean Phillip and iSTEAM Managing Director Clilia Davis signed the MoU. Davis noted that the initiative, which began in December 2024 with backing from corporate sponsors, gains greater structure and official status through this partnership.
Phillip emphasized that the collaboration adopts a people-centric approach, drawing on iSTEAM’s network of professionals, volunteer participation, and corporate partners to deliver sustainable programs.
