Public Open Day at Port Zante
The naval vessel opens to the public from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Port Zante, Pier 2, accessible via the arrival hall. Visitors gain a rare chance to board the ship, tour its facilities, and interact with crew members. The experience showcases the training, professionalism, and maritime expertise of Taiwan’s midshipmen, along with insights into the nation’s social and technological advancements.
Special Performances on Bay Road
Following the ship tours, a performance program runs from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in front of Ram’s Supermarket on Bay Road. The St. Kitts and Nevis Defence Force (SKNDF) Band kicks off the event, followed by Taiwan Navy displays featuring drums, an honor guard, and martial arts demonstrations. Authorities implement a temporary road closure in the vicinity for safety.
