Dr. Denzil Douglas, the longest-serving Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, has reached 37 years in politics as the Member of Parliament for Constituency 6.
Career Milestone
Douglas began his political journey in 1989 and has dedicated nearly four decades to the St. Kitts and Nevis Labour Party. Throughout his career, he has consistently represented the residents of Constituency 6.
Community Celebration
On March 22, 2026, Douglas marked the occasion with a special church service at St. Pauls Wesleyan Holiness Church. Friends, family, and supporters joined him for the event.
Douglas expressed gratitude to the pastor and church family for organizing the service. He also thanked the community for making the day memorable.
Visits to Seniors
In honor of his parliamentary service start, Douglas visited several seniors in his constituency, accompanied by a pastor. He recalled how these individuals supported him during their more active years by attending rallies and roadshows.
“Their loyalty, love, and commitment never wavered,” Douglas stated. He emphasized that the seniors remain valued and are not forgotten, despite reduced public activity.
