The St. Kitts and Nevis Crusing Affiliation (SKNSA) is delighted to announce that 4 of our elite sailors have been chosen to take part within the prestigious St. Maarten Funds Marine Dinghy Championship, scheduled to happen from November 27–30, 2025. This premier regional regatta is an AHO qualifier for the World Optimist Championship and can start with a pre-practice race on Thursday, November twenty seventh.

The Funds Marine Dinghy Championship continues to advertise crusing excellence and foster youth improvement throughout the Caribbean. This yr’s occasion will deliver collectively high sailors from Antigua, St. Barthélemy, St. Martin, Guadeloupe, St. Maarten, Curaçao, and St. Kitts and Nevis.

Inexperienced Fleet – Emijah Maynard (SKYC)
Inexperienced Fleet – Clijae Christmas -Mulley (NASC)
Inexperienced Fleet – Rodney Huggins (SKYC)
Optimist – Greyson Burrell (SKYC)

These gifted younger athletes earned their spots on the nationwide workforce following their excellent performances on the SKN Nationwide Dinghy Championships, held July 5–6, 2025. SKNSA stays dedicated to enhancing our sailors’ expertise, enhancing racing strategies, and fostering robust values reminiscent of teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship. We consider that publicity to high-level competitions reminiscent of this can assist our athletes proceed to develop, excel, and characterize St. Kitts and Nevis with delight.

We lengthen our greatest needs to our sailors and look ahead to celebrating their experiences and achievements upon their return. SKNSA is proud to help initiatives that advance the event of youth crusing throughout each St. Kitts and Nevis.
