Following his devoted service of 34 years in St. Kitts and Nevis, Dr. Thomas prolonged his experience to the broader Caribbean. From 2008 to 2010, he served in Barbados as Venture Coordinator for the Meals and Agriculture Group (FAO). On this capability, he was tasked with implementing a European Union–funded initiative underneath the Particular Framework of Help (SFA), supporting diversification efforts within the Windward Islands as they transitioned away from dependence on the banana trade.
