Basseterre, St. Kitts, August 5, 2025 (SKNOC) – The St. Kitts and Nevis Olympic Committee (SKNOC) is proud to announce the official delegation for the nation’s participation within the 2nd Junior Pan American Video games, scheduled to happen from Saturday, August 9 to Saturday, August 23, 2025, in Asunción, Paraguay.

The Junior Pan Am Video games is a premier worldwide multi-sport competitors organized by the Pan Am Sport Group (PASO), showcasing athletes underneath the age of 23 from throughout the Americas. Following an impactful debut in Cali, Colombia in 2021, the place St. Kitts and Nevis secured a silver medal within the ladies’s 100m by Amya Clarke, the SKNOC is fielding a dynamic workforce throughout 4 sporting disciplines this 12 months: Athletics, Aquatics, Seashore Volleyball, and Tennis.

The SKNOC continues to embrace its imaginative and prescient of elevating the nation’s sporting profile by means of strategic funding and worldwide publicity. Participation on this occasion aligns with the SKNOC’s targets, which embrace:

• Rising the variety of ranked athletes/groups per sport;

• Bettering the worldwide rating of nationwide federations;

• Boosting the variety of qualifiers in world or continental occasions;

• Increasing participation throughout a broader spectrum of sports activities on the international degree.

President of the SKNOC, Mr. Dennis “Freddie” Knight, expressed his pleasure within the workforce’s formation and readiness:

Normal Secretary Mr. Glenville Jeffers added:

“Our athletes have put within the work and now have the chance to showcase their abilities on a world stage. This expertise will contribute immensely to their growth, each personally and athletically. We commend the efforts of the coaches, households, and nationwide federations who’ve all performed a task in getting us up to now.”

Workforce SKN is scheduled to reach in Paraguay three days earlier than their respective competitors dates and can depart in the future following the conclusion of their occasions.
