Kejuan Cannonier of Nevis Road, Basseterre, has been formally charged in reference to the July 11 capturing incident that occurred within the Fowl Rock space.

Cannonier was charged on July 17, 2025, on the Cayon Police Station. He now faces three prices: Possession of a Firearm with Intent to Endanger Life, Possession of Ammunition, and Discharging a Loaded Firearm in a Public Place.

Deputy Commissioner of Police, Cromwell Henry, confirmed that Cannonier is the second particular person charged within the case. On July 14, Justin Merritt Jr., of Buckleys Housing Improvement, was arrested and charged.

The incident, which occurred close to the Customs and Excise Division, concerned gunmen reportedly travelling in a black BMW X5.

Preliminary investigations recommend that gunfire was directed at a Honda CR-V as each autos headed towards Fowl Rock.

Police stated the occupants of the BMW opened hearth earlier than fleeing the scene. The suspected automobile was later noticed close to Potato Bay in Frigate Bay, prompting a police pursuit.

Investigations are nonetheless ongoing.
