Basseterre, Saint Kitts, July 6, 2025 (PMO)—Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, Hon. Dr. Terrance Drew, is in Kingston, Jamaica, main a nationwide delegation to the forty ninth Assembly of the Convention of Heads of Authorities of the Caribbean Neighborhood (CARICOM), being held from July 6 to eight, 2025.
The assembly brings collectively regional leaders to deliberate on urgent points affecting the Caribbean and to advance the agenda of regional cooperation, sustainability, and financial resilience.
Accompanying the Prime Minister are Senior Minister and Minister of Overseas Affairs, Proper Honourable Dr. Denzil Douglas; Ms. Naeemah Hazelle, Everlasting Secretary within the Prime Minister’s Workplace; Mr. Javon Liburd, Press Secretary to the Prime Minister; Ms. Viera Galloway, Director within the Prime Minister’s Workplace; and Mr. Bjorn Hazel, Senior Overseas Service Officer. The delegation will assist the Prime Minister’s participation in high-level classes and bilateral engagements all through the summit.
Throughout this assembly of the Heads, Prime Minister of Jamaica, Hon. Andrew Holness, will assume the Chairmanship of CARICOM.
Prime Minister Drew continues to advocate strongly for a extra built-in and resilient Caribbean, and his participation on this summit reaffirms St. Kitts and Nevis’ dedication to regional unity and cooperation.
