INLAND REVENUE DEPARTMENT CONFIRMS RETURN OF VAT RATE TO 17% EFFECTIVE JULY 01, 2025

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, JUNE 30, 2025 – The Inland Income Division (IRD), on behalf of the Authorities of St. Kitts and Nevis, needs to tell most people and enterprise group that the Worth Added Tax (VAT) price will revert to 17% efficient July 1, 2025, following the expiration of the short-term decreased price of 13%.

This adjustment aligns with the coverage measures outlined within the Hon. Prime Minister and Minister of Finance’s 2025 Price range Deal with, which launched the decreased VAT price as a part of the Authorities’s broader financial aid and restoration technique. The Division is happy to notice that this initiative has had a constructive affect on industrial exercise and shopper sentiment throughout the Federation.
