This phase of the project has been underway for the past two weeks, with an estimated three more weeks of work anticipated to bring it to completion. The department is targeting the end of September for the overall completion of this second water well.

As of a recent report on Friday, the drilling for the second well had reached a depth of 280 feet. The department’s objective is to achieve a total depth of up to 500 meters for this well.
